❗Warning

The Security Vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 published related to Java log4j does not cover Tegsoft software.
This security vulnerability covers log4j versions between 2 and 2.14.
However, Tegsoft software is integrated with 1.2.16 and 1.2.17 versions.

⚠️ Recommended Configuration

Tegsoft cloud infrastructure is constantly optimized in terms of the use of Tegsoft software changes with maximum benefit. To get the maximum benefit from these software changes for the on-premises systems, it is necessary to use the following recommended configuration structure. In the case of Tegsoft update on systems in other versions, technical issues, compatibility issues, and security vulnerability arise.

  • CentOS 7 Operating System

  • Asterisk 16.21

Welcome to the release notes for Tegsoft.

The release notes include key details about the Tegsoft current release, including information on new and improved features, bug fixes. Please review the topics carefully, as they include late-breaking information that may not be available in other Tegsoft documentation.

Information About Release πŸ”

The purpose of the Release Notes communicates the major new features and changes in this release of the Tegsoft. It also documents known problems and work-arounds.

This Release Note is comprised of four sections:

1. What's New?
New Feature Notes describes and announces the new features of develop for Tegsoft products. Every item listed under this section describes the basics of a newly developed feature. Detailed descriptions/instructions will be accessible from the links provided at the end of the new feature description.

2. What's Improved?
Improvement Notes describes changes, about a feature/function that is already active. Type of changes are listed below:
β€’ Data field updates (removal or addition of fields)
β€’ Changes in reports or in applications
β€’ API functionality changes
β€’ Performance improvements
β€’ Layout changes

3. What's Fixed?
Fix Notes are the list of known and fixed customer-reported defects or security fixes. Some instructions or workarounds may be described.

4. Related Documentation
Related Documentations are the list of links for more information related to the release.

1. What's New? ⚑

We are glad to announce the new user interface TEGSOFT_V3 as the beta version. This beta build is now available for Tegsoft’s users for testing before its official roll out to all users.

With this version, Tegsoft is getting a fresh visual update. Among many others, the most noticeable change is the user-friendly, fluent, and elegant design. To try the new Tegsoft UI, version needs to be upgraded. There are two methods for this upgrade.

The first method:

  • For upgrade the UI to the beta version, first open the PBX Management βž› Server Settings screen by following the steps in the screenshot given below, in Tegsoft software (step 1 and 2).
  • Then click on user interface version (step 3).
  • Select TEGSOFT_V3 instead of TEGSOFT_V2 (step 4).
  • Click the save button (step 5).

❗After the server settings are completed, the server must be restarted by the Tegsoft technical team or your dealer.
Please contact Tegsoft technical team [technical@tegsoft.com] or your dealer to restart the server.

2. What's Improved? ⭐

The following improvements appear in this release:

  1. General performance improvements have been made.

3. What's Fixed? πŸ”§

The following fixed bugs appear in this release:

  1. Two parameters have been added to Excel File downloaded from the group assignment section in the CRM settings.
  2. The problem in mapping the agent's extension number to a physical phone number while making an inbound call has been fixed.
  3. The problem in reporting the Listened Report in the Call Detail Recording (CDR) has been fixed.
