Certification Announcement! 

The expiry date of the *.tegsoftcloud.com certificate has been extended. All systems using this certificate need to be updated to the latest version of Tegsoft until the end of July in order to avoid certificate problems. After the update, the certificate validity date will be displayed as 9 August 2023 as shown in the screenshot below.


Introduction

Welcome to the release notes for Tegsoft.

The release notes include key details about the Tegsoft current release, including information on new and improved features, bug fixes. Please review the topics carefully, as they include late-breaking information that may not be available in other Tegsoft documentation.

Information About Release 🔍

The purpose of the Release Notes communicates the major new features and changes in this release of the Tegsoft. It also documents known problems and work-arounds.

This Release Note is comprised of four sections:

1. What's New?
New Feature Notes describes and announces the new features of develop for Tegsoft products. Every item listed under this section describes the basics of a newly developed feature. Detailed descriptions/instructions will be accessible from the links provided at the end of the new feature description.

2. What's Improved?
Improvement Notes describes changes, about a feature/function that is already active. Type of changes are listed below:
• Data field updates (removal or addition of fields)
• Changes in reports or in applications
• API functionality changes
• Performance improvements
• Layout changes

3. What's Fixed?
Fix Notes are the list of known and fixed customer-reported defects or security fixes. Some instructions or workarounds may be described.

4. Related Documentation
Related Documentations are the list of links for more information related to the release.


1. What's New? 

The following new features appear in this release:

1. Web chat analysis report has been added to Tegsoft reports. This report can be accessed by generating a report in XLS file format from the Webchat Reports ➔ Webchat Detail Report tab. 


The newly added webchat call analysis data to this excel report is given below.

  • Session Count Total number of the sessions 
  • Agent Count  Total number of the agents 
  • Total Message Count Total number of the messages (agent + contact + system + file) 
  • Total Human Message Count Total number of the text messages excluding system messages (agent + contact)
  • Total Customer Message Count  Total number of the messages sent by the contact (excluding files)
  • Total Agent Message Count  Total number of the messages sent by the agent (excluding files)
  • Total System Message Count Total number of the system messages (welcome, waiting, idle, closing, etc.) 
  • TotalFileCount  Total number of the files sent by the contact and agent 
  • TotalFileCountAgent Total number of the files sent by the agent
  • TotalFileCountContact Total number of the files sent by the contact
  • Total Word Count Total number of the words in messages (agent + contact + system)
  • Total Human Word Count  Total number of the words in messages (agent + contact)
  • Total Customer Word Count  Total number of the words in messages (contact)
  • Total Agent Word Count Totalnumber of the words in messages (agent)
  • Total System Word Count➔ Totalnumber of the words in messages (system)
  • Total Customer Idle Duration  Total elapsed time from contact message to agent response

As shown in the screenshot below, in any browser, replace TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL with your server in this URL https://TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL/Tobe/forms/TegsoftVue/ and then go to this address by the pressing enter button.


2. What's Improved? 

The following improvements appear in this release:


1.General Security and Performance Improvements have been made.

2. Significant performance improvement has been made to Requirements and complaints

With this improvement, requirements and complaints files are now able to be stored in the archive target where the voice recordings are stored, so that these files do not use space in the database

In order to transfer files from oldrequirements and complaints to the file system, please connect to the server via SSH and run the following command once.

./tegsoft_transferREQFiles.sh

In this archive target, the requirements and complaints files are prefixed with the "REQ-" prefix.


3. Improvements have been made to addContactsToCampaign and addContactsToCampaignWithGroup API services.

3. What's Fixed? 🔧

The following fixed bugs appear in this release:

1. The problem in speech-to-text rules parameters has been fixed.

2. Extension display issue of internal calls in dashboard has been fixed.

3. The problem in displaying Agent's state as After Call Work (ACW) has been fixed.

4. The authorization issue caused by expired users has been fixed.

5. The authorization issue in listening to voice recordings on V3 screens has been fixed. 

6. The problem that users in the agent role with report authorization cannot display the reports on V3 screens has been fixed.

7. The problem in the "If contact spoke with an agent restrict calling" option in the voice campaign manager has been fixed.

8. The problem in the "Call timeout" parameter in the voice campaign manager has been fixed.
