Fanvil Phone New Features

There are four new features have been developed for Fanvil phones in the Tegsoft application.

• Fanvil phone background change
• Call feature without pressing # key or dial
• DND Button
• New function assignment to BLF keys

Integration of Tegsoft and Fanvil Phone

You must create a new extension for the Fanvil phone in the extension screen in the Tegsoft application, or if you have an extension for the Fanvil phone type, you can use it.

If the extension is to be created, a connection to the Fanvil page is made from the web browser with the IP of the Fanvil phone.
On Fanvil page> Auto Provision> Static Provisioning Server
On this screen, you should enter your server IP in the "IP address" field. "Protocol type" "TFTP" should be selected. Then the Save is completed with the Apply button. After Saving, the Fanvil phone is integrated into the Tegsoft system by reboot it from the "Reboot Phone" section.

1- Fanvil phone background change

You can access the "Custom Applications" menu under "System Management".
A new record is opened with the "+" button, the background photo on your computer is selected and uploaded to Tegsof. While uploading, it is important to select the correct Model- Pixel size - Format - Image size - Name information.

Note: The photo format information is given in the screenshot, if this format information is not used, this feature will not work.

Custom Applications

The Extension menu opens. The extension that we defined for the Fanvil phone is selected. Click the "Other" tab in the "Phone Settings" area at the bottom of the page.
The name of the photo you have saved in the system is written in the Idle Image URL field. (Written in the name field)

After Auto Provision is done on the Fanvil page, this background photo will appear on the phone screen.

Format Information

2- Call feature without pressing # key or dial

This allows for a user to dial predefined length of phone numbers without pressing dial button. A definition is not required for this feature. Fanvil will be active on phones.

After Auto Provision is done on the Fanvil page, this feature will be active on the phone.

3- DND Button

With this parameter, users will be authorized to use (activate) the DND button. This button can be enabled or disabled.

Extension menu > Phone Settings

If the DND combobox “DND (Do not disturb) button can be used” is selected, the DND button is active, so users will be able to use the DND button on their phones. The button is enabled.
If DND combobox "DND (Do not disturb) button can't be used." If selected, the DND button is passive, so users will not be able to use the DND button on their phones. The button is disabled.

After Auto Provision is done on the Fanvil page, this feature will be active on the phone.

4- Assigning new functions to BLF keys

You can assign appropriate functions to the BLF keys on the right side of Fanvil phones.

Extension Menu > Phone Settings > Memory Keys

In the Type section, the function suitable for the Fanvil phone is selected. The phone number or extension number is entered in the Value field. Different functions can be selected for all BLF keys.
After "Auto Provision" is done on the Fanvil page, the feature will be activated on the BLF keys of the phone.
