Dear Valued Customers;

We are writing this announcement to inform you of an upcoming End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Sale (EOS) on the Tegsoft_V2. Tegsoft_V2 is going to be phased out and migrated to Tegsoft_V3.


End of Development (EOD)
December 31, 2022From 1st January 2023, all new development and improvement requests will be carried out on Tegsoft_V3. Software updates and patches for Tegsoft_V2 will continue to be released until the EOL date.
End of Life (EOL)
End of Sale(EOS)
End of Support / End of Service Life (EOSL)
June 30, 2023From 1st July 2023, Tegsoft_V2 will no longer be supported and available for sale.

The above schedule means that Tegsoft customers will have until 30 June 2023 to migrate their existing Tegsoft_V2 to Tegsoft_V3.

We sincerely appreciate your assistance in helping us to minimize the impact of discontinuation of Tegsoft_V2 on your company and your customers, assure that this EOL will not affect the existing service relationship much.

Welcome to the release notes for Tegsoft.

The release notes include key details about the Tegsoft current release, including information on new and improved features, bug fixes. Please review the topics carefully, as they include late-breaking information that may not be available in other Tegsoft documentation.

Information About Release 🔍

The purpose of the Release Notes communicates the major new features and changes in this release of the Tegsoft. It also documents known problems and work-arounds.

This Release Note is comprised of four sections:

1. What's New?
New Feature Notes describes and announces the new features of develop for Tegsoft products. Every item listed under this section describes the basics of a newly developed feature. Detailed descriptions/instructions will be accessible from the links provided at the end of the new feature description.

2. What's Improved?
Improvement Notes describes changes, about a feature/function that is already active. Type of changes are listed below:
• Data field updates (removal or addition of fields)
• Changes in reports or in applications
• API functionality changes
• Performance improvements
• Layout changes

3. What's Fixed?
Fix Notes are the list of known and fixed customer-reported defects or security fixes. Some instructions or workarounds may be described.

4. Related Documentation
Related Documentations are the list of links for more information related to the release.

1. What's New? 

The following new features appear in this release:

1. New webchat start options have been added to webchat script for automatic popup chat window when the user lands on a website.

2. New layout parameters (width and height) have been added to the widget script for resizing the widget window. By configuring these parameters, the scroll bar in the widget window can be hidden.

3. Internal instant messaging feature has been enabled on Tegsoft-V3. Users are able to send queue or user-based messages by clicking on the speech balloon in the upper right corner.

4. Definition and Setting services have been added to Tegsoft Rest APIs. To discover these new API methods, please visit here.

5. Music On Hold services have been added to Tegsoft Rest APIs. To discover these new API methods, please visit here.

6. Remove Multiple Contacts from Campaign API method has been added to outbound campaign services.

7. Make an Agent Auto Ready After Login API method has been added to agent management services.

8. Artiwise Speech Analytics (SA) provider has been enabled for Speech Analytics configurations.

9. JettMesaj SMS service provider has been enabled for SMS configurations.

10. "Agent management access" authorization parameter has been added to Voice Skills (Queues), Webchat Skills (Queues) settings and Voice Campaign Manager.

11.  The new Tegsoft user interface (TEGSOFT_V3) is ready for Tegsoft users.

As shown in the screenshot below, in any browser, replace TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL with your server in this URL https://TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL/Tobe/forms/TegsoftVue/ and then go to this address by the pressing enter button.

2. What's Improved? 

The following improvements appear in this release:

1. Icon and font sizes on the Tegsoft-V3 user interface have been improved for better user experience.

2. The following Security Improvements have been made.

  • Improved credential sensitive data privacy in API and Web responses.

  • Security improvements have been made to not allow arbitrary music on hold file upload.

  • Failed login attempts through API are limited for security purposes.

  • Yealink devices that support TLS 1.2 are set to run with TLS 1.2 protocol by default for security purposes.

  • TLS 1.1 protocol is disabled in Asterisk for security purposes.

  • In SSH protocol, connection is blocked with the following key algorithms.

3. The following Performance Improvements have been made.

  • Performance improvement has been made on the Webchat Monitoring screen.

  • Performance improvement has been made for archiving voice recordings.

  • Date binding development has been made to improve performance in generating Tegsoft reports.

4. With the user interface improvement implemented in the Tegsoft V3, waiting calls are displayed on the dashboard with two different views.

3. What's Fixed? 🔧

The following fixed bugs appear in this release:

1. The problem of displaying the name of the agent who is typing in Webchat has been fixed.

2. The problem of listing the contacts on the Tegsoft-V3 Contacts screen has been fixed.

3. Login error after changing a user’s username in Tegsoft-V3 has been fixed.

4. The cache related issues in Widget have been fixed.

5. Reporting issues related to the last archive date (days) have been fixed.

6. The problem with “https only” parameter on the Tegsoft-V3 Server Settings has been fixed.

7. The problem in the CDR Project Report has been fixed.

8. Widget web browser notification issues have been fixed.

9. The problem of redirecting the webchat call to a URL based on the time condition in the Webchat Skills (Queues) has been fixed.

10. The issue with the "Automatically becomes ready when logs-in" option, which occurred on occasion, has been fixed.

11. Report parameters issue caused by scheduled tasks has been fixed.

12. Fixed an issue in which the chat session was closed as a result of closing a manual outbound voice call while in an active chat session.

13. The refreshing issue in the Activities and Notes tabs on Tegsoft-V3 Agent Desktop has been fixed.

14. Fixed an issue in which if a webchat call was declined, the call would terminate and not return to the queue.

15. Problems with deleting contact cards and activities in Tegsoft-V3 have been fixed.

16. The problem of listing the campaign result and schedule selection field in Tegsoft V3 has been fixed.
