TEGSOFT_V2 END OF LIFE (EOL) ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Valued Customers;

We are writing this announcement to inform you of an upcoming End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Sale (EOS) on the Tegsoft_V2. Tegsoft_V2 is going to be phased out and migrated to Tegsoft_V3.

June 30, 2023From 1st July 2023, Tegsoft_V2 will no longer be supported and available for sale.


The above schedule means that Tegsoft customers will have until 30 June 2023 to migrate their existing Tegsoft_V2 to Tegsoft_V3.

We sincerely appreciate your assistance in helping us to minimize the impact of discontinuation of Tegsoft_V2 on your company and your customers, assure that this EOL will not affect the existing service relationship much.

Introduction

Welcome to the release notes for Tegsoft.

The release notes include key details about the Tegsoft current release, including information on new and improved features, bug fixes. Please review the topics carefully, as they include late-breaking information that may not be available in other Tegsoft documentation.

Information About Release 🔍

The purpose of the Release Notes communicates the major new features and changes in this release of the Tegsoft. It also documents known problems and work-arounds.

This Release Note is comprised of four sections:

1. What's New?
New Feature Notes describes and announces the new features of develop for Tegsoft products. Every item listed under this section describes the basics of a newly developed feature. Detailed descriptions/instructions will be accessible from the links provided at the end of the new feature description.

2. What's Improved?
Improvement Notes describes changes, about a feature/function that is already active. Type of changes are listed below:
• Data field updates (removal or addition of fields)
• Changes in reports or in applications
• API functionality changes
• Performance improvements
• Layout changes

3. What's Fixed?
Fix Notes are the list of known and fixed customer-reported defects or security fixes. Some instructions or workarounds may be described.

4. Related Documentation
Related Documentations are the list of links for more information related to the release.


1. What's New? 

The following new features appear in this release:

1We are glad to announce the Real-time Translator has been enabled for Tegsoft Web Chat.

The Real-time translator allows Tegsoft users to translate the chat messages in real time. Users can freely interact with their customers despite language differences and chat with all customers from anywhere in the globe thanks to the integration between Google Translate and Tegsoft Webchat. 

No special configuration required; users who have the text-based contact center license start chatting with real-time translations automatically displayed in the chat. (Real-time translations in the scope of AI later on is going to be charged.)

Translator settings are configured by clicking the world icon on the webchat session as shown in the screenshot below.


After the translator is enabled, the messages are going to be displayed in the selected language on the agent's screen, no matter what language the customer writes in.


2. We are also pleased to announce that Tegsoft Widget has joined the Tegsoft product family! 

Tegsoft widget is a component of the Tegsoft interface, that enables users to access certain Tegsoft services by adding this widget to their CRM.

After adding the Tegsoft widget to the CRM, along with many useful features, users will be able to receive inbound and web chat calls, make outbound and campaign calls as the agent, track the agents’ states as the supervisor, and so on.

For example, the following screenshot show the lifecycles of inbound call on the Tegsoft widget.

If Tegsoft users need to develop advanced widget integration to simplify agents' tasks such as calling a customer, getting information about the calling customer, they need to customize integration process.

3Another new feature that we have announced is changing the Tegsoft Contact Center Logo.

Tegsoft users can create a custom look with the purpose of crating their personal branding for their Contact Center by making changes to the default logo in Tegsoft V3.

4.  The new Tegsoft user interface (TEGSOFT_V3) is ready for Tegsoft users.

ℹ️  If you want to try the new Tegsoft user interface, please follow the instruction below.
As shown in the screenshot below, in any browser, replace TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL with your server in this URL https://TEGSOFT_SERVER_URL/Tobe/forms/TegsoftVue/ and then go to this address by the pressing enter button.


2. What's Improved? 

The following improvements appear in this release:


1.General Security and Performance Improvements have been made.


2. Attachment and related contact arrangements are provided for requirement calls in Agent Desktop

Thus, the desired file can be attached to the requirement e-mail as shown in the screenshot below.


Related contacts field with To, CC and BCC options has been added to Requirement Calls as shown in the screenshot below. 


3.  Setting button has been added to Agent Desktop in Tegsoft 3 where users can adjust microphone, speaker, notification, and camera settings.


4. "Leave when no agent" parameter has been removed from the voice skills (queues) parameters. In addition, new values have been added to the "Ready agent rules" parameter. These are;

  • Takes calls in any situation,
  • Queue call if ready agent exists,
  • Receives a call if there is a ready and idle agent,
  • If there is no agent, the call should go to "Destination Type".


5. Browser notifications have been enabled in Tegsoft V3.

6. The inbound call is now answered by pressing the Space or Enter key on the keyboard in Tegsoft V3.


3. What's Fixed? 🔧

The following fixed bugs appear in this release:

1. Fixed the issue where the Last agent routing configuration in Voice Skills (Queues) caused to call the agent with not ready status.


2. Fixed the UC client pop-up issue in Tegsoft V2.

 
3. Fixed the issue where changing theuser account authorization in Tegsoft V3.

 
4. It has been ensured that the customer and agent can hear the notification sound even though they are in a different tab of the browser.

 
5. It has been ensured that an agent who is logout of the system by the supervisor can not perform any operation in both Tegsoft V2 and V3.

 
6. No login agent on system parameter in Voice Skills (Queues) has been removed.

 
7. Fixed the issue where different contact card is opened when the name on the contact card is changed and saved.
