Preliminary Check for Microphone Issues

Article summary

The following steps may help resolve the low audio output issue:

1. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Sound

2. In the Sound settings window, navigate to the Recording tab and disable all devices except the microphone in use.

3. Right-click the active microphone and select Properties. In the Properties window, navigate to the Levels tab to adjust the microphone volume as needed.

4. Next, go to Microphone Privacy Settings and ensure that Allow apps to access your microphone is enabled.

Note: If additional permission is required for Google Chrome in this section, make sure to enable it.

5. After saving these settings, close the Control Panel.

6. Lastly, when the Tegsoft system is in 'Ready' status, click the microphone icon in the address bar. In the pop-up window, confirm that the default microphone is set to the one in use.

NOTE: After logging into the system, if microphone permission is not granted, a warning message will appear as shown in the screenshot below. When this warning is displayed, microphone access must be enabled in the browser settings.
